National Night Out is a nationwide event held on the first Tuesday of August each year. This event encourages neighborhoods to organize Block Parties and Activities to get together and enjoy their neighbors and our community.
National Night Out is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs.
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit.
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
